This video explores the life of Flora and F.O. Stanley who dedicated themselves to the development of the Estes Valley. The Stanleys were instrumental in the establishment of Rocky Mountain National Park as well as the Town's infrastructure including the school, the library and the first bank. Their work is preserved in the Stanley Home Museum

Historic Fall River Hydroplant
JJ Rutherford from the Estes Park Museum shares the history of this unique hydro plant which was built by F.O. Stanley in 1909 to bring hydroelectric power to his brand new hotel and eventually to the entire town of Estes Park until it was damaged in the Lawn Lake Flood of 1982.
